Sunrise Flagging offers thrilling opportunities within our Traffic Control team. As a Traffic Control Person (TCP), you are crucial in ensuring the safety of your fellow roadworkers, crews, and the public on the road. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of various parties by effectively and safely managing traffic.
Your Responsibilities:
– Stop, slow, and safely direct road users through work or construction sites
– Protect workers in the construction zone by regulating traffic flow
– Give traffic control directions and signals clearly and precisely so that motorists and road users understand their meaning
– Keep the flow of traffic moving with as few delays as possible
– Always prioritizing the safety of your team and contractors to ensure their protection

What we need from you:
– Valid BCCSA TCP ticket

– Minimum 6 months experience
– To be reliable and hard working
– Enjoy being in the outdoors
– Access to your own vehicle to commute to different job sites
Where/When you will be working:
– Can be dispatched across the Lower Mainland
– Occasional weekend work available
– Working outdoors in all elements and weather
